Cynthia Angela Moore Newsom

We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Cynthia Angela Moore Newsom, at the age of 64 (Panama City Beach, Florida).

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Col. Emory Moore and Janie Sias of Panama City; her husband Ben; her children, Jacob Newsom, Brianna Newsom and Joshua (Lacy Newsom) of Panama City; her siblings, Marsha (Tip Osterthaler) of McLean, VA, Jan Knowles and Robert Moore of Panama City; and her nephew Jeff Mitchell of Panama City.

Cynthia was born May 19, 1955 in Kadena AFB, Okinawa to Emory and Janie (Kelley) Moore and moved to Panama City Beach in 1977 coming from Moultrie, GA. Cynthia had a real zest for life, enjoying music, dancing, walking her dog, the beach, biking & skiing and her 'Starbucks,' but most of all she loved being with her family. Cynthia was united in marriage in 1985 to her husband, Ben who resides in Panama City Beach. She is also survived by her mother, Janie Sias of Panama City; her three children, Jacob Newsom and Brianna Newsom both of Panama City Beach and Joshua and his wife, Lacy Newsom of Panama City; her siblings, Marsha and her husband, Tip Osterthaler of McLean, VA, Jan Knowles of Panama City Beach and Robert Moore of Panama City and a special nephew, Jeff Mitchell of Panama City.

Funeral arrangement under the care of Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Homes. Friends will bereceived 6-8 pm Friday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place 2pm Saturday. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
